D.Pharmacy
- A Pass in HSc or equivalent with the following group of subjects
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics
- Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology
- Age: 17 years and above
B.Pharmacy
All categories of candidate except SC/ST community should have minimum of 40% aggregate marks in HSc with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, or Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology). Diploma in Pharmacy holders (from a PCI recognized institute) is eligible to pursue this course under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act. The curricula and syllabi for the program shall be prescribed by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.
Each semester shall consist of not less than 100 working days. The odd semesters shall be conducted from the month of June/July to November/December and the even semesters shall be conducted from December/January to May/June in every calendar year. Candidate is required to put in at least 80% attendance in individual courses considering theory and practical separately. The candidate shall complete the prescribed course satisfactorily to be eligible to appear for the respective examinations.
Pharm.D
- All categories candidate should have minimum of 50% in HSc with the following science subjects.
- Physics, Chemistry & Biology
- Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
- Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology
- Diploma in Pharmacy holders (from a PCI recognized institute) is eligible to pursue this course.
- The student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
M.Pharmacy
- Should have passed B.Pharmacy Degree with 55% marks from any recognized university or any other institute equivalent to university is eligible to pursue M.Pharm program.
- The candidate passed UG Degree course other than the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai has to obtain Eligibility Certificate from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.
Pharm.D (PB)
- Graduates who have completed B.Pharm from a PCI recognized institute are eligible to pursue Pharm D (Post-Baccalaureate) course. Minimum aggregate marks required 50%.
- The curricula and syllabi for the program shall be prescribed by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.
- Each academic year shall consist of not less than 270 working days (inclusive of the University exam days). Candidate is required to put in at least 80% attendance in individual courses considering theory and practical separately. The candidate shall complete the prescribed course satisfactorily to be eligible to appear for the respective examinations.
Bachelor of Pharmacy / Doctor of Pharmacy / Diploma in Pharmacy

- Migration Certificate obtained from the respective board of their study
- Eligibility Certificate obtained from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai
- NRI status of financial supporter issued by the Indian Embassy of the respective country under their seal.
- Certificate of Relationship between NRI financial supporter and the candidate issued by the competent authority, valid Indian Passport of the NRI financial supporter.
- Original and Copies of Passport and Visa of the candidate.
- NRE (Non Resident External) Bank Account Pass Book of the financial supporter.
- Evidence for payment of US $ 1000 Development Charges to the college by the NRI financial supporter (one time payment at the time of admission)

Dr. Edmund M. D'Couto
Welcome to KMCH College of Physiotherapy, Healthcare is today seeing exponential growth. The practice of medicine cannot be limited to just “curing” the disease but demands the holistic restoration of the patient to their maximum functional potential. This requires the input of various personnel who constitute a healthcare team. A physiotherapist is a very important person in this team, and their role is pivotal in hastening recovery, reducing the hospital stay and returning the patients to their full functional status. The applications of technology in medicine is increasing and contributing to more effective therapy protocols. KMCH college of Physiotherapy has been at the forefront of training physiotherapists who are able to meet the demands of this profession in various scenarios across the globe.
At KMCH we believe that education should be holistic. We expect our students to be interactive and not passive learners. We expect you to employ critical and creative thinking skills to solve problems; and pose questions, examine possibilities, and apply skills to find solutions. Developing a professional attitude right from the first year is imperative to grow into a skilled and respected healthcare professional at the end of the course, and this professional attitude needs to be displayed in the way you dress, talk and carry yourself at all times.
